The Cast - The Griever

THE GRIEVER

Loss is part of life, and women, being caretakers, are intimately acquainted with the experience of loss and its accompanying grief.

Alice still feels sadness over the loss of her beloved parents despite the years that have passed since their deaths. Having recently lost 2 lifetime friends, she keenly feels their absence and continues to process the grief she experiences.

Judy has experienced multiple losses: babies shortly after birth; a marriage to divorce; the death of a beloved second husband; and the deaths of loving parents, other family members and close friends.

In this construction the woman is portrayed as breaking through the shopping bag which symbolizes the imprisonment caused by the grief that has encased her.
